The Culture & Development Executive will be responsible for the onboarding process for all non-operational colleagues including; curating & creating new starter packs, conducting all first morning activities and leading monthly cultural workshops & quarterly departmental showcases. They will always be constantly looking for ways to improve all aspects of the new colleague onboarding process - implementing these where appropriate.
The Culture & Development Executive will co-ordinate the personal development programme for the Group, including; facilitating or sourcing facilitators for workshops, organising appropriate training space/dates and, importantly, communicating this to the business and maximising engagement with the programme. They will create and curate content for The HUB, the company communication platform, including business updates and articles to drive engagement and interaction with the platform. The Culture & Development Executive will constantly look for and implement ways to optimise this engagement, including creating events and promotional activity to drive engagement.
The Culture & Development Executive will be data driven and responsible for creating data packs relating to the monthly pulse surveys, maintaining The Hub database and ensuring the Learning Management System is up to date and user friendly at all times. They will always be looking for ways to collect relevant data to demonstrate the success of engagement activity.
The Culture & Development Executive is pivotal in ensuring the right learning intervention reaches the right employee at the right time. This will include managing the company Learning Management System as well as administrating all company led training programmes.
They will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with external training and platform providers, as well as colleagues of all levels within the group. The role requires creativity, enthusiasm and willingness to engage with employees regarding their experience within the organisation. The individual will need to be excellent at building relationships, networking, innovating and be able to think outside of the box. They will be genuinely committed to supporting the personal development and overall experience of employees across the group.
The Culture & Development Executive will keep up to date with any innovations in the field, researching new systems and theories, scoping any that will be of value to the organisation.

Role Outline
As our newest Culture and Development Executive, you will accountable for the following areas of responsibilities:
Manage all on boarding activities for non-operational employees including; creating exciting new starter packs that reflect the company culture, day one induction and leading the cultural orientation and departmental showcase sessions. Working to enhance and develop the process further.
Promoting and driving activity around the company Values. This includes managing the values awards and driving engagement with and awareness of these across the business. Currently, this includes managing the selection process, purchasing vouchers, preparing paperwork and certificates as well as creating a briefing document for the CEO but this role includes scope to think about how to enhance the Values programme.
Create and curate content for The Hub platform, including articles and business updates, and documents relevant to employee interests.
Drive engagement and interaction with The Hub platform whilst seeking out opportunities to optimise the platform, working with the Culture and Development Manager and Hub Platform team.
To plan, roll out, communicate and engage all employees in a ‘Legal Core Curriculum’ for all employees (Induction, Fire, Health & Safety training etc.) every 12 months.
To own the organisations Apprenticeship programme, including; liaising with managers and regional brands to identify colleagues to be a part of the programme, engaging the best training providers and managing the apprenticeship levy account to ensure the levy is utilised.
Follow up on all learning activities within the business with both Line Managers, and employees, to ensure learning has been effective and identify further needs.
Initiate relationships and partnerships with external training providers.
Guide and assist employees to develop PDP’s and learning plans, in conjunction with the Culture & Development manager
Manage the LMS, ensuring the site is accessible and serviceable to employees throughout the group.
To scope and create content for eLearning courses.
Maintain excellent relationships with employees and line managers.
Collating monthly departmental packs to communicate the results of the monthly pulse surveys, in conjunction with the Culture & Development Manager.
Produce effective and accurate reports as requested.
Assist with the Job Evaluation programme as required.
To be pro-active in keeping up with industry innovations in development and culture.
To undertake additional project work as directed by the Employee Engagement Manager and Head of HR and/or HR Director
