Bond Recruitment is currently recruiting for a paraplanner to join an energetic financial services company in Poole this is a career advancing opportunity as you will have the opportunity to view how the financial services team is set up and potentially grow with it.
Working alongside the Financial Planners taking full responsibility for the client file from data gathering, analysis, production and implementation of the financial plan.

The role and responsibilities:
) Client Responsibility
· Take responsibility for a portfolio of clients, managing ongoing relationships and all enquiries
· Identify and obtain the information necessary to compile financial cashflow forecast
· Compile financial cashflow forecast and discuss with the Financial Planner ensuring that the Planner is ready for their meetings

(ii) Prepare Recommendations:
· Identify areas for planning
· Undertake research both independently and with the planner to identify suitable solutions to meet the clients' needs
· Liaise with clients' legal and tax advisers (if applicable)
· Consider current and future asset allocation of assets for investment strategy with regard to the client risk profile and lifetime cashflow
· Produce clear, technically accurate, compliant and concise financial planning and suitability reports to be signed off by the planner.

(iii) Implementing Recommendations
· Ensure fact finds, client questionnaires and meeting notes fully support the advice given
· Make changes to clients' investments as instructed
· Implement agreed actions
· Process recommendations

(iv) Reviewing
· Act as a main point of contact and deal effectively with client queries
· Prepare and coordinate review documentation including; financial planning and portfolio review
· Implement agreed actions
· Ensure any updates and reports are issued to clients in a timely manner
· Manage the ongoing client relationship and professional parties

(v) Administration
As part of the administration team, the following are an example of some of the additional administration tasks that are required to be completed:
· Obtain quotes / application forms etc
· Produce client valuations and relevant data inputting
· Send off letters of authority
· Submit and follow up new business
· Update Intelligent Office with plan details when business completed

(vi) General Responsibilities;
· Comply with the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 and the relevant FCA rules
· Comply with the relevant compliance, TCF, T&C and financial crime (anti-money laundering, data security, anti-bribery, fraud and corruption) procedures of the firm at all times
· Ensure that all relevant product, legislative and technical changes are known and understood
· To provide support to our firm's financial planners by completing non-client facing tasks involved in preparing and administrating any recommendations being made to a client
· Ensure all client files are compliant on an ongoing basis
· Attain and maintain level of competence as required by the firm
· Maintain all standards of performance as required by the firm
· Ensure relevant CPD is maintained and recorded accurately

Additional Information
£30,000 - £33,000 pa plus benefits that include a generous holiday entitlement, training and pension.
