Bond Recruitment is currently recruiting for a FURNITURE TRADE SALES to join an energetic boutique furniture company in NW10 area of London this is a career advancing opportunity with great earning potential as you get 10% commission on all you sell
The company: has been selling contemporary furniture for over 30 years receiving awards in excellence.
The role and responsibilities:
• Achieve individual weekly, monthly and yearly sales targets ( orders, Sales, Margin and mix).
• Maintain the highest business to business client satisfaction
• Follow-up on existing trade leads and outstanding quotes (providing information, pro forma etc )
• Source and generate new sales and develop trade database
• Provide high level of service in line with the Brand Values in store and via telephone.
• Police rigidly the payment journey ( deposit and paid in full prior to delivery)
Maximize margins
• Understand how to maximize margins to generate bottom line results
• Use cross selling to maximize margins and/or prioritize high margin items
• Develop detailed understanding of all ranges features, benefits and margin contributions
Policies and procedures
• Adhere to the company HR policies and legal requirements (discipline, working hours, EHS, appraisal)
• Ensure compliance with working hours, sickness policy, etc as outlined in the Staff Handbook
• Coordinate with Pymore HQ to process orders accurately and swiftly to avoid any delays or business costs resulting from Store errors.
• Understand and use relevant BW / SAP reports to monitor outgoing deliveries to timescale and communicate with customers as appropriate
• All written communication to customers must be to the company required standard
• Analyse sales data to maintain awareness
KPIs
• Weekly, monthly and yearly order Intake, delivered sales
• Product mix, percentage and absolute gross margin
• Quote and lead database continually updated
Additional Information
£25,000 - £30,000 pa plus benefits that include commission a generous holiday entitlement, training and pension.
Personal specification:
*
• 2/3 years business to business background
• Interest / qualification in Interior Design and or furniture/ fabric
• Ability to work in a small and lean organization, hands-on, motivated and a team player
• Computer literacy essential: outlook (or similar), XL, word etc.
WORK PLACE & TRAVEL
• Satellite department Mon Fri (occasional weekends if required for event/exhibitions)
Driving license will be useful - a company car, mobile & laptop
