We are looking to recruit a Training, Health & Safety and Compliance Manager for our clients. The role will predominantly based at their Head Office (Wokingham) with occasional travel to customer sites.Salary: Up to £35,000 per annumHours: 40 hours per weekJob Type: PermanentOur client is a well established company committed to providing an excellent service, great value for money and outstanding customer service. These staff are all supported by their field based management team and our head office team in Wokingham.The RoleDue to our continued expansion and their commitment to training and development, our Client has created this exciting new key role working with their head office support team. Reporting directly to our Operations Director, you will be responsible for the developing a training strategy and delivery for all operational staff in addition to ensuring our compliance with Health & Safety legislation, our ISO9001 and standards across the business. A key focus will be the delivery of BICSc level training and assessing of all our supervisors / area managers. Most of this training will take place at our head office (BICSc Training Centre) but there will be the requirement to carry out some assessments at customer locations at the time of clean.Key Responsibilities Include: - Driving training strategy and delivery - BICSc training, assessing and associated administration - Creating and implementing operational toolbox training - Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety legislation - Health & Safety training and responsibilities - Assisting our Quality Manager in achieving and maintaining our current ISO9001:2015 accreditation - Attending regular meetings with the Head of Customer Services and Operations Director at our head office in WokinghamThe ideal candidate will be- Pro-active, logical and forward thinking - Be flexible on working times and able to travel across regions - Have a background in the commercial cleaning industry - Have self-motivation - Have excellent communication skills - Take full responsibility for tasks - Manage teams in a supportive manner - Preferably BICSc qualified - Preferably have Health & Safety experience and qualifications (IOSHH etc) - Have a valid UK driver`s license, satisfactory references and right to work in the UKExperience in the cleaning sector is essential.The RewardsUp to £35,000 per annum, normal business expenses, up to 25 days annual leave (depending on length of service) and a NEST pension scheme.
